We want your stay at Mångata Villas to feel relaxed, easy, and effortless. The policies below help ensure a peaceful, comfortable environment for all of our guests.

Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: 11:00 a.m.

Arriving early or hoping to linger a little longer? Just let us know. Early check-in and late check-out are based on availability, and we're always happy to try and accommodate.

To maintain privacy and tranquility, housekeeping is not provided daily. If you would like your villa or casita tidied during your stay, simply let us know the day before so we can schedule it.

Need fresh towels, toiletries, or drinking water refills? Just ask - our team is happy to assist.

To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of our adults-only property, please keep noise to a minimum between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Mångata Villas is a smoke-free property indoors, including vaping and marijuana.
Smoking is welcome on the beach only - you'll find ashtrays available at Moon Bar.

If your feet are in the sand, you can have a smoke in hand.

Note on Belize Cannabis Laws:
Possession of up to 10g of marijuana is decriminalized for personal use on private property only.
However, buying or selling marijuana remains illegal. Please exercise good judgment.

We love pets - but to ensure comfort for all guests, pets are not permitted on the property.

Accidents happen - just let us know right away. Minor damage is typically not charged. For larger damage, we'll discuss the cost with you before departure to ensure fairness and transparency.

Replacement charges (only if items are lost or damaged beyond repair):

Kayaks / Stand-Up Paddleboards: $500 USD each
Life Jackets / Paddles: $75 USD each
Beach Towels: $25 USD each
Normal wear and tear is never charged.

Guests can cancel their booking free of charge up to 14 days before the check-in date. Cancellations made prior to 14 days will receive a full refund of their deposit, minus a 5% cancellation fee to help cover the costs of the initial reservation.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable.

Guests may reschedule their booking once, at no additional charge, for a new stay within 12 months of the original check-in date, subject to availability. All other conditions must remain the same. Any upgrade to a different room type or a change from low season to high season will be subject to the applicable rate difference.

The hotel will not be liable for any refunds or compensation due to travel delays, cancellations outside of these terms, or any guest's inability to travel for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, losses or costs arising from acts of God, such as hurricanes, pandemics, political issues, illness, emergencies, or any events classified as force majeure.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
